DADAMAN pt.6
More old-school MAD-inspired chaos…how can you not love drawing these panels? More cliche’ed movie references (as if swiping Silence of the Lambs wasn’t enough), today’s theft coming from some movie made by Alfred Hitchcock.
George Ford has brought to my attention that it’s Black History Month, so, in honor of the long and cultured history of African and/or African-American type persons, I’m going to spend some time listening to my favorite black musician: Wesley Willis!
[oh, what are you rolling your eyes for? Willis pulled himself out of the streets, endured horrible schizophrenic fits, didn't have any musical talent or training but STILL recorded memorable and enjoyable songs and won over thousands of fans with his perserverance and spirit. If that means nothing to you, go listen to Kanye or Pee Diddy or whatever!]

Aidan, you’re acing it with this edition. There’s something hilarious in nearly every panel. I really dig your writing. Plus, I think you gave Jeraukov (I hope I’m pronouncing her name right in my head) some shine in today’s comic just for me.

I’d have to be Psyco not to dig your work, Mr. C!
Always really look forward to stopping by – please keep up the great work!

I am really diggin’ these past few pages. Very cool! That last panel is pretty creepy though. Creepy but cool.

@George Jeraukov’s name is a slight alteration of a therapist I once had. The funny thing about her name was that I never realized it sounded like “jerk off” until just recently (and I’m telling this to a cartoonist who has a character named “Phil McHunt”). Glad you enjoy zaftig women; she’s thinking of you in that last panel!
@Spilled Inky Anytime, man! Glad I meet your standards (I aim to please!).
@Brogan She’s also thinking of YOU, too!
@John You do me too much honor, but thank you kindly. Seriously, I’m glad I’m making an impression.
@David Love is a creepy, creepy thing sometimes! Glad you enjoy as well.

Wesley Willis… who wouldn’t like “Rock’n'Roll McDonalds”

Glad you agree, Jerry!
I don’t think there’s many songs that can top the hilarity of “I Whupped Batman’s Ass”…they really should have included that in ‘Dark Knight’!
